LDCMMC has formulated Electronic Media strategy to combat COVID-19 while making sure that cattle markets continue to function.
A team of officers will perform dissemination of information by sending messages to cattle farmers belonging to Punjab, KP, Sindh, Baluchistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad.
Team will interact with cattle farmers/ stakeholders through Social Meida groups (facebook, twitter, Linkedin, whatsapp) for dissemination of information.
Team will gather data to create the trends of incoming animals and sold animals in all cattle markets,
LDCMMC is maintaining official website www.ldcmmc.punjab.gov.pk that is regularly updated for dissemination of cattle market information.
Media coordinator is keeping close liaison with journalists to ensure publicity of company’s policies using all tools related to media which include press releases, tickers, issuance of news photos etc.
To resolve emergent problems of farmers, Helpline 03218400252 has been activated.
The team submits a compiled report on daily basis.
